We have had a amount of emails recently saying that there are just too may issues in making your own solar panels. Problems like high levels of handyman skill required, solar panel operation limitations, etc.
Here's an example. We'll call him John. John has been a handyman for years. Only puny projects but none the less prominent to him. We have said for a long time you only need two things to ensure your Diy solar panel task is a success. You need some basic handyman skills and a few tools, and you need to want to save on your electricity bills. Oh, and it helps if you have a desire to want to assist the Planet.

His concern for real boiled down to "could he build a solar panel which would perform the vital voltage and current?"
